Hailing from the hills and valleys of rural Yorkshire, Chris is an associate professor at Kyushu University in Fukuoka, Japan. Rugby-mad with a penchant for archaic lexis, Chris gained his doctorate in 2014 from his hometown Sheffield University in England.
